Biometric pass to be released as of August

Lebanon will start arising biometric passports during a commencement of August, a Lebanese General Security announced Thursday.

Citizens can request for a new pass during General Security centers opposite a country, solely for a Baalbek areas of Hermel, Deir al-Ahmar, Shmustar, Rashaya al-Wadi and Mashghara. General Security centers in a north Lebanon towns of Minyeh, Bibnine and Meshmesh and a south Lebanon villages of Zahrani, Jbaa and Shebaa, will also not be arising biometric passports, as they have not nonetheless been related to a General Security Directorate.
