UN Security Council urges Lebanon to elect new president, lawmakers

The U.N. Security Council on Friday called for Lebanon to fill a presidential opening and reason new parliamentary elections as shortly as probable for a consequence of a country’s stability.

Lebanon has been but a boss given May 2014 when a tenure of Michel Sleiman ended.

Also, Parliament, that was inaugurated in 2009 for a four-year term, cancelled elections in 2013 and again a subsequent year. New elections are set for subsequent year. But notwithstanding doubling their terms, lawmakers frequency accommodate to opinion on bills.
