As with turkey, infrequently we can’t always find a right mixture we need for American fare. Take cornbread, for example. The many critical member is cornmeal, though this doesn’t unequivocally exist in German cuisine. The best surrogate that this American has found is called Maisgrieß – and it always turns out delicious.
And if you’re unequivocally in doubt, try regulating a identical recipe by a British website instead (which like a BBC tend to have grams and ounces).
