Tropical diversity, ecology and land use

The DAAD-funded Alumni Special Project “Tropical diversity, ecology and land use – harmonizing tellurian needs and nature” took place from 18-27 Feb 2016.

The total activity, that related a four-day SLE TRAINING seminar in Berlin with a corner organisation appearance in a European Conference of a “Society for Tropical Ecology” (gtö), took place in Göttingen, Germany.
The organisation worked in a really creative, eager and heated mood, and, accordingly came adult with a series of superb results, that found a high grade of consi-deration among a society’s house members as good as among a discussion participants.

The organisation has started, already during a conference, to found a network called “Scientists in Action for Biodiversity and Nature” in sequence to residence a mostly felt need for prompt action, once changed healthy ressources are underneath threat, so bridging a opening between scholarship and unsentimental implementation.
