Speaking on the subject of James Gunn, the director has some other high-profile superhero projects to look forward to. The filmmaker is writing and directing a reboot of Suicide Squad called The Suicide Squad, which is slated to arrive in theaters on August 6, 2021. After that, Gunn returns to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film doesn’t have a release dat yet, but Marvel is sure to make an announcement concerning that soon enough.
