Bochum hopes to be Germany’s ‘fastest city’ for internet

Bochum’s mayor, Thomas Eiskirch, pronounced his city would turn Germany’s initial “Gigabit City” – as a plan is called – by charity households lightning speed internet connections, a Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reported on Sunday.
