German soldier shot passed by pirates in a Caribbean

The German Foreign Ministry reliable to The Local on Tuesday that a German male died while in a island republic of St. Vincent and a Grenadines, and that 3 others were also injured.

Local Caribbean media reported that a male who died and those harmed were on house a yacht in Wallilabou Bay. At about 1.35am on Friday, dual masked and armed pirates came onto a vessel, journal Barbados Today reported.

Broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk identified a male who died as soldier Martin G. from Sennfeld, Bavaria. The yacht’s captain, who was also German, was harmed and a pirates stole money and credit cards on a yacht.

Martin G., 48, had reportedly been on vacation with his mother and dual children. 

A German Foreign Ministry orator told The Local that German embassies and consulates in a area have been operative with internal authorities and that those harmed are now “out of danger”.

Wallilabou Bay and Falls are renouned traveller destinations and several scenes from a film Pirates of a Caribbean were filmed during a scenic location.

St. Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves voiced “revulsion” about a murdering of a German father of two, earnest on internal radio to write to Chancellor Angela Merkel himself, according to Barbados Today.
