Google Pixel launch: How to watch the Made by Google Event and what to expect

Google will hold its Made By Google keynote event on Thursday, Oct. 6. At the event, Google will launch its latest Google Pixel devices, including the Pixel 7 and Google Pixel Watch. The event will be livestreamed and the public is welcomed to watch. If you are deciding whether or not you want to tune in, here is everything you need to know about the event. 

How to watch?

The Made by Google event will kick off at 10 AM ET or 7 AM PT and will be livestreamed on the event’s landing page on the Google website. The actual event will take place in Brooklyn, New York, but in-person attendance is limited to members of the press. However, the general public is welcome to watch the event’s livestream without any need to register in advance. 

On the event page, you can add the Made by Google event to your calendar to watch the livestream on launch day. If you miss the event, no worries, Google will post a recording of the event afterwards, and ZDNET will make sure to have live updates with the latest news. 

What to expect?

Google will officially launch the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones at the event, as well as the first smartwatch built by Google, the Google Pixel Watch. The tech-giant also said it will announce additions to the Nest smart home portfolio at the event.
