Sydney Schanberg, a Pulitzer Prize-winning match who chronicled a Khmer Rouge’s heartless arise to energy in Cambodia in a 1970s, died Saturday during age 82 .
While a tactful village and other Western reporters fled Cambodia as a Khmer Rouge underneath Pol Pot approached Phnom Penh in 1975, Schanberg and Dith chose instead to stay behind.
Schanberg won awards including a Pulitzer, that he pronounced he common with Dith.
Dith transient to Thailand in 1979 and was eventually reunited with Schanberg.
Schanberg pronounced during a time that a dual had turn like brothers.
