LIVE: Stockholm glitters for Eurovision Song Contest

The foe is being hosted in one of a many Eurovision crazy countries on earth: Sweden. It has won a competition 6 times (beaten customarily by Ireland during 7 wins) and a Swedes take it flattering seriously. With Eurovision clubs and venues set adult during a Royal Palace and Stockholm’s parks, and restaurants and pubs going all in, general fans have helped renovate a Swedish collateral into a hulk disco round this week.

But it is not to everyone’s liking. Swedish The Local reader David Grevér Bergelin says a city has been so swarming with tourists it has felt like a center of a summer season.

“I have indeed had to mount in line to get down into a tube hire dual times this week. It’s like we’re hosting a World Cup of Football or a Olympics. But this is a misfortune it has ever got. The whole of executive Stockholm is lonesome with shit about it and it’s been going on for 3 weeks now,” he told The Local.

“I used to like it. But not crazy-like it like my countrymen. But we used to watch it. But today it’s too much. It used to be one Saturday like 3 to 4 hours on TV. Now it’s all year long.”
