German Chancellor Angela Merkel will host Emmanuel Macron for talks in Berlin on Monday, a day after a new French
president is due to take office.
Their assembly will take place “late afternoon on Monday”, pronounced Merkel’s spokesman Steffen Seibert.
The German personality had welcomed Macron’s win in France, observant he “carries a hopes of millions of French people and also many in Germany and opposite Europe.”
President-elect Macron was welcomed by Merkel when he visited Berlin in Mar while on a debate trail.
The 39-year-old had stressed his “common ground” with a German chancellor on mercantile reform, mercantile fortify and Europe’s future.
