Tim Robbins: Media ‘Thuggish Censorship Arm of the Government’
Tim Robbins believed both the press and government’s narratives about the COVID-19 pandemic.
And then, slowly, he opened his eyes.
The “Bull Durham” actor noticed reality didn’t match the headlines and government proclamations. And he started speaking out about it.
Now, Robbins is blasting the corrupt media and his fellow Democrats for not only covering up the biggest personal freedom story of our age but attacking the brave souls revealing it.
Bari Weiss’ The Free Press, along with journalists like Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, have uncovered a nefarious union between the Biden administration and Big Tech to suppress speech in the name of fighting “disinformation.”
The Twitter Files, which included those intrepid journalists, broke down other revealing stories the mainstream press ignored or aggressively downplayed.
Much of the suppressed “disinformation” was either simple opinion or cold, hard facts. That didn’t stop Team Biden, working hand in glove with platforms like Twitter (pre-Elon Musk) and other platforms, to censor speech.

It’s all true.
Those journalists are threatening Taibbi with jail time for committing journalism. And it’s another fact-based narrative the media doesn’t want to cover. The conservative press reported on the shameful accusations, as did Mediaite. If you use Google News to search “Taibbi Stacey Plackett” you won’t mind the major media organs touching the story.
Why? Deep down, journalists know how toxic the comments are to the Democrats, and they protect Democrats at all costs in the post-Trump era.
It’s undeniable. Just track how journalists ignored, or covered up, the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. It’s all the evidence you need.
Robbins isn’t a conservative. He’s a liberal to his core, someone who isn’t following his party’s descent into authoritarianism and free speech suppression.
And we need more liberals like him.
